The Lawrenceville FFA has a rich history of pride and tradition that at least started in 1956. Those Officers that founded the Incorporated Charter for the State of Illinois were as follows:
President: Donald Kimmel
Vice President: Carl Salesman
Secretary: Bill Seward
Reporter: Richard Pinkstaff
Treasurer: Bob Roberts
Sentinel: Gerald Green
Advisor: Jesse H. Keyser
This was proven by the original plaque that hangs on our wall in the class room today.
After 1989 the program was disolved and the Red Hill and Lawrenceville students formed a co-op chapter until 2003 when the program was recharted under Larry Lewis as Advisor. In 2005 Jason Green took over and is currently the advisor of the organization which currently has over 50 members.
